Location
Katowice International Airport is located in the town of Pyrzowice 30 km (18 miles) north of Katowice.

Public Transport
Public and express buses, minibuses and taxis connect the airport with the metro area. Buses leave every hour to the center of Katowice and vice versa (jorney time 50 minutes). In addition, Wizzair offers a shuttle minibus service (which coincides with arriving flights) to transport passengers from Katowice airport to the train station in Krakow and Czestochowa. Another company that offers bus to Krakow is Matuszek. There are also buses traveling to other areas such as Bytom (# 85 and # 53) and Mierzecice (# 17). There are also express buses ( + 48 603 966 598 ), minibuses and shuttles that provide transportation to the city. Furthermore PKM Katowice Buses offers a service everyday between the terminal and Katowice city center). Taxi ranks ( +48 32 786 06 06 ) are located near the terminal building.

Parking - Katowice airport has a capacity of 2,500 parking places in three car parks located opposite the terminal building: P1, with 1,130 places for short term in front of the terminals, with the first 5 minutes free of charge, P2, with 1,115 places for long stays, with the first few minutes free, and P3, with 200 monitored parking boxes. Parking fees: short-term car park €1,25 hourly, €12,30 daily and €32 weekly; long term car park: €1,50 hourly, €9,85 daily and €17 weekly. There are spaces reserved for disabled customers.
