Warsaw International Airport is the country's busiest airport and one of the fastest growing in terms of traffic during the last years. It concentrates the majority of domestic flights and operates with major european destinations, among other points. About 9.34 million passengers passed through it in 2011. Warsaw International Airport is located 10 km (6 miles) southwest of the city.

Public Transport
Buses and taxis connect the airport with the metro area. The bus stop is located opposite the arrivals level righ next to the multi-storey car park. There are 5 public bus lines serving the Warsaw airport. In fact, bus lines 175 and 188 go to the city center with stops at the train station and old town (journey time - 30 minutes). These lines run every day from 4:45 to 23:30 and the journey time is 30 minutos (ticket fare: €0,65). Line 148 connects the airport with the Prague Poludnie district and the N32 night bus (from 11:10 pm to 4:40 am) connects the airport with the train station. Line 331 links the airport with the metro station Wilanowska and runs from monday through friday ( 4:40 am - 5:50 pm). An airport coach service runs to different hotels in the city as well as train stations and metro stations. In addition, there is an express service connecting the campus with several polish cities. Taxi ranks are located opposite the terminal building. For safety reasons, we recommend using one of the 3 licensed taxi companies at the airport: Taxi Sky Ele (Tel. +48 22 811 11 11), Super Taxi (Tel. +48 22 578 98 00) and Sawa Taxi (Tel. +48 22 644 44 44). Taxi fare: downtown Warsaw €9,70.

Facilities and Services
There are car rental desks from the most recognized companies (Avis, Budget, Dollar, Ge-Car, Europcar, Hertz, National, Sixt) in the arrivals hall of the public terminal. Hire a car




The airport offers bank, automated teller machines (ATM), currency exchange office, VIP lounge, public telephones and Wi-Fi. In the departures level of Terminal 1 there are areas for executives, meeting and conference rooms are provided by the Courtyard by Marriott and hotels located nearby.
Food and Drinks - restaurants, cafes and ice cream buffet self-service.
Shopping - some shops, including duty free, souvenirs, newspapers and tobacconist.
Baggage - left luggage in the arrivals hall open 24 hours (tel. +48 22 650 2006). Lost and Found office tel: (022) 650 4122/4385.
Other Services - medical center, chapel, baby change facilities, observatory, among other facilities. The general information desk is in the departures area, while tourist information office. is situated in the arrivals level.

Disabled Facilities - lifts, restrooms, adapted telephones and ramps. For passengers requiring wheelchair or other special needs is recommended to coordinate this with your airline company or travel agency. To take a taxi wheelchair adapted passengers should make a reservation prior consultation with the general information desk.

Parking - Warsaw airport has 3,700 places in total. There are two covered parking garages (P1 and P2), one in each terminal and are used preferably for short periods. Two other areas are open air parking and located east side of the garage, to the right of the Marriott hotel courtyard. P3 is for short-term and the P4 is for long-term. The parking in front of the terminal building is exclusively for fast pick-up and drop-off of passengers. Parking fees; short term car park: €1,95 hourly, €17,95 daily and €125 weekly; long term car park: €2,50 hourly, €12,15 daily and €41,25 weekly.There are parking spaces for disabled customers. Accomodation - Hotel Falcon Transit Hotel is located within the Warsaw airport grounds, in the transit area of the departures hall, although the number of rooms is limited. Another hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott, is next to the terminal. There are also hotels near the terminal complex and some of them offer free shuttle transportation.
