Ibiza Airport is one of the most important in Spain. About 5.55 million passengers transited through it in 2012. It operates domestic flights and the most important european destinations. Ibiza Airport is located 7 km (4.5 miles) southwest of Ibiza.

Public Transport
Buses and taxis connect the Ibiza airport with various points of the urban area and the whole island as well. Bus Line 10 runs from the Formentera Maritime station to the airport and vice versa, in about 30 minutes (€3,20). The trip is: Estación Marítima Formentera-Ibiza bus station (Avda. Isidoro Macabich)-Sant Jordi-Airport. Bus line 9 (only available from june 1st to september 30th) departs from San Jose towards the airport and vice-versa (€3,20). The journey includes: Municipio de San Jose - San Antonio - Airport. From Ibiza airport to downtown by taxi, the journey time is 20 minutes. The stops are located next to the terminal. Taxi fee is about €1 per km, but night time (from 10 pm to 6 am) raises to €1,20 Euros por km. Besides there is an aditional fee called "suplemento" for trips from/to the airport (€1,65). Bookings with Radio Taxi San José (Tel. 971 800 080). In turn, there is a ferry service that runs from the island of Ibiza to Formentera in 45 minutes. Shopping - There are some shops, duty free, giftshop with souvenir items, newspapers and tobacconist.
Baggage - lost and found office (tel 971 809 207 ). For cases of loss, damage or delay of checked baggage, the companies Acciona Airport Service, Air Europa, Iberia and Ryanair have offices for customer service.
Other Services - There are travel agencies, pharmacy, first aid center, general information desk and tourism office.

Disabled Facilities - ramps, lifts, toilets, telephone booths and child seats, among other facilities. For passengers with special needs (such as wheelchair) is recommended prior arrangement with your airline or travel agency. The airport also has two taxis adapted for people with disabilities.

Parking - The Ibiza airport parking offers approximately 500 spaces, for both, short and long-term. The first 30 minutes are free. Fees: €0,65 hourly, €11,05 daily and €70,75 weekly. In addition, there are a total of 12 parking spaces reserved for handicapped located in front of the terminal building.
