About 1.4 million passengers transited through it in 2011. Spirit Airlines is a low cost carrier operating on the promises.

Atlantic City Airport is located 21 km (14 miles) northwest of the city's financial district.

Public Transport
Express and public buses, minibuses, limousines and taxis connect the airport with urban areas. Taxi ranks are located outside the terminal, there is also a bar located between the luggage area and the exit. The taxi ride to downtown Atlantic City takes 30 minutes. Tropiano Transportation Company (Tel 1800559 2040) performs door to door transportation service (from 10 to 12 passengers). His desk is located next to the car rental desks. Public buses SJTA Transit Link (Tel 1973275 5555) depart from the terminal and have the final destination at the train station in Atlantic City (one line), and the other one goes to the university zone.

Parking - Atlantic City Airport has ample parking and divided into three car-parks: parking garage (close to campus), short-term (also within walking distance from the terminal), and a remote and budget car-park, connected to the main building by a shuttle service. About 1400 parking spaces are located in the main parking lot and in case of no availability, there is an area that can provide 100 additional boxes. Rates: short stays - $ 1 per hour with a maximum of $ 13; longer stays $ 9 per day. There are spaces reserved for disabled people.
