Austin International Airport is located 8 km (5 miles) southeast of Austin's financial center.

Public Transport
Express buses, minibuses, limousines, shuttles and taxis connect the airport with urban areas. The public bus line 100 takes the route from downtown to the airport and vice versa. The company Super Shuttles - Tel 1-800-BLUE VAN ( 258-3826) provides door to door transportation service. In addition, Yellow Cab taxi companies (Tel. (512) 452 9999), Austin Cab (tel (512) 478 2222) and Lone Star Cab (Tel. (512) 836 4900) are authorized to operate within the enclosure. The minimum fare of the taxi service is $ 12.85 dollars and have a maximum of 4 passengers (estimated cost to downtown Austin $25).
