Public Transport
Minibuses door to door, limousines and taxis connect the airport with Birmingham. Airport Express, Birmingham Door to Door, eShuttle and Meteors Shuttle offer door to door vans. It is recommended to reserve them in advance. Journey time to Birmingham city center: 20 minutes and to Atlanta 3 and a half hours ($60 USD). Taxi ranks are located near the baggage claim area. The companies operating at the site are the follows: American Cab, Award Cab Company, Birmingham Cab Company, Hill Cab Company, Progress House Taxi Cab and Yellow Cab. Airport/ downtown fee: $15 USD.

It also has 40 boxes, totally free and without limit of time for passenger pick up and drop off on the Airline Drive. Rates: $1 dollar per hour and $12 USD daily.
