Dayton International Airport, is the one that serves Montgomery County, and a big part of the Ohio state. It operates a variety of domestic and some international flights (mainly to Canada). About 1.27 million passengers transited through it in 2011. Frontier Airlines and AirTran Airways are low-cost airlines operating on the premises.

Dayton Airport is located 14 km (9 miles) north of Dayton business district.

Public Transport
Express buses, limousines and taxis connect the airport with urban areas. Taxi service is available from 7:00 am to midnight. Taxi companies are: Air City Yellow Taxi, All America Taxi, All-USA Taxi, Anytime Taxi, Clean Cab, Dayton Express Company, Diamond Taxi, Dollar Cab, Miami Liberty/Checker, Petra Cab, among others. Rates: Dayton Center $ 40 (journey time: 20 minutes). Buses and taxis have their stops in front of the terminal's main entrance. The express bus service can be booked at the counter located in the baggage claim area (Tel: (937) 898 4043). The approximate cost to downtown Dayton is $ 33 per person.
