Des Moines Airport is located 5 km (3 miles) southwest of Des Moines business district.

Public Transport
Express and public buses, limousines and taxis connect the airport with urban areas. There are several taxi companies authorized to operate at the airport; Alpha Taxi (Tel. But in turn, there are several bus lines running from the terminal to the city center as well as express buses making intercity trips. The journey to downtown Des Moines is 20 minutes and the ticket price is $ 1.75 dollars for the public bus and $ 2 for the express service.
