The airport is located in West El Paso, 9 km (6 miles) east of El Paso financial district.

Public Transport
Buses, shuttles and taxis connect the airport with urban areas. Sun Metro Bus Company provides bus service from the city center (Downtown Plaza) with a stop at Bassett Shopping Center, ending at the airport. The journey time is 50 minutes (ticket price: $ 1.50). The taxi service operates 24 hours and Border Cab (Tel. 915 533 4245), United Independent Cab (Tel. 915-590 8294) and Sun City Cab (Tel. 915-544 2211) are the only authorized taxi companies to operate at the airport. There are fixed rates that vary according to destination areas. Rates: downtown El Paso $ 25. In addition, several shuttle companies run from the airport to the city center and some hotels offer courtesy transportation.

Parking - El Paso airport has parking lots for short and long-term, and are located in front of the terminal building. Total capacity of approximately 6 000 boxes (1242 for short stay and 4496 for long stay). The first 30 minutes are free and then apply different rates according to the parking lot. Rates for short stays: $ 1.50 per hour, $ 1 each hour thereafter, and $ 10 daily; for long-term car park: $ 1 per hour, $ 0.50 each hour thereafter, and $5 daily. Accomodation - There are no hotels within El Paso airport, although several hotels such as Chase Suite Hotel, Guesthouse International Suites, Hawthorn Suites By Wyndham, Marriott, Microtel Inns & Suites, Radisson Hotel & Resort and the Wyndham Hotel & Resort are located within half a mile and, like other downtown hotels, have shuttles to transport guests.
